Nusrat Ventimiglia is a former Immigration Officer with years of
experience interviewing applicants for immigration benefits in the Los
Angeles Asylum Office. Ms. Ventimiglia has also processed refugee
applications overseas along the Thai-Myanmar border and in Bangkok,
Thailand during her career with USCIS. Ms. Ventimiglia has worked as
an immigration attorney successfully representing persons before
various immigration offices and in immigration court, and is proud to
have also worked as the Director of Victim Services at Equality
Michigan where she advocated for the rights of members of the LGBT
community in Michigan. Ms. Ventimiglia graduated with high distinction
from the University of Michigan and earned her Juris Doctor from Wayne
State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan as a Dean’s Scholar
and Lombard fellow in 2008. Ms. Ventimiglia is fluent in Hindi and
Urdu, is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s
Association and was licensed to practice law in Michigan in 2008. Ms.
Ventimiglia is licensed to practice immigration law in all 50 states.
