EB-5 Processing times
USCIS has published its most recent EB-5 processing times for I-526 Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur applications and for I-829 Petitions by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor program. As of January 31, 2014, I-526 applications filed on or before March 31, 2013 will take about one year to process, and I-829 petitions filed on or before February 28, 2013 are an almost two-year wait however , I-829 applicants are already permanent residents and are accruing time towards their eligibility for US citizenship during this wait period.
Furthermore, USCIS has recently updated its 2013 Fiscal Year EB-5 statistics with data through September 30, 2013. Denials rates for I-526 denial rate dropped under 15{d3e4c3007f92404e9ca9c26a6bf48477888b9226cd35406b8d671b952349c559} and the approval rate exceeded 85{d3e4c3007f92404e9ca9c26a6bf48477888b9226cd35406b8d671b952349c559}, an incase over the previous year of 1{d3e4c3007f92404e9ca9c26a6bf48477888b9226cd35406b8d671b952349c559}.
The I-829 denial rate was a low 3.5{d3e4c3007f92404e9ca9c26a6bf48477888b9226cd35406b8d671b952349c559} which was over a 60{d3e4c3007f92404e9ca9c26a6bf48477888b9226cd35406b8d671b952349c559} decrease on the 2012 denial rate.
